IGY6 started by delivering snack boxes throughout 2020 & 2021; however, moving into 2022, the organization has decided to pick a new standard box or bag to donate throughout each year.
Throughout 2022, law enforcement officers will receive an appreciation goodie bag that will consist of a microfiber cloth, hand sanitizer pack, Goody’s headache powder pack, life saver candy, life saver mint, 3 rubber pin backs and a quick snack (i.e. nabs or a granola bar).
This year the organization will also be upping the merchandise game to include new stickers, hats, clothing and more! The IGY6 Etsy shop will be going away in March and all merchandise will be available via the website. Please r

This year a new fund will be created called the You Are Not Forgotten Fund. This fund will be created to help the law enforcement officers, their families and their squads should disaster strike (i.e. house fire, fallen officer, etc.). With each merchandise purchase, a certain percentage of the total will go into this fund, and that percentage will be determined at a later date.
One top goal for 2022 is to host a virtual 5K where all proceeds will benefit the “You Are Not Forgotten Fund”. Ideally, it would be amazing for all 50 states to participate, so when the final date is released, we will need your help to spread the news! A later blog post will explain the details of this event including registration, participation details, and more.
