What a month it has been so far...brainstorming new ideas, updating the website, meticulously designing new merchandise and creating new and exciting fundraising events!
New Ideas:
A year-long merchandise plan has been drafted which includes a few new t-shirt designs and home decor! Gift boxes in addition to the DIY Appreciation Goodie Bag boxes are being put together.
Updating the Website:
To begin, our favorite pictures, along with our accomplishments that are helping us reach our 2022 goal are being displayed on the home page, and each one is connected to a blog post that correlates. Secondly, our blog has a name! "The Report" is our weekly blog that brings you what's to come, what's been done and everything in between. The store is updated with all merchandise and the Etsy shop is gone, so please take a look and see if anything catches your eye.
Designing:
New t-shirts have been in the making throughout the entire month and the finished product is COMING SOON! Two new t-shirt designs were released earlier in the month in a variety of color options to chose from. There will be a t-shirt giveaway the day the shirts go live in the shop, so make sure to follow us on social media to see the details and enter for a chance to win!
Upcoming Events:
One thing that was mentioned in a previous blog post as quarterly fundraising events. The first fundraiser that has been in the works is the "You Are Not Forgotten 5K" which is tentatively scheduled for the first weekend of June. There has not been any other information released on this event, due to the logistics being finalized; however, they will be coming out within the next month!
